by Jesse Ford DTM Program Quality Director
It all started about a year ago when our now District Director, but then Program Quality Director, Emily Murray and her team organized TLI. They planned and held several great sessions teaching us all the difference between appreciation and recognition. In the end, they came out with about 70% of all club officers trained. But what does that have to do with where we are now?
This year, our super-awesome Co-Chairs Brandi Wesley and Kelsey Dean, leading the TLI team, decided that we could elevate our performance. No, this wasn’t just to beat the last record but, because we always push the bar higher in D25, and show that we can always do a better job supporting our members.
New material was developed, and the power of positivity was taught, all while using a great “bus driver” metaphor. If you missed training this term, you surely won’t want to miss the upcoming Winter TLI sessions. These ladies, along with the Zoom-Mistress Samantha Watt, and Reporting Verifications extraordinaire, Krystal Besaw shared the sunshine.
The Division Directors again all organized their TLI sessions, and we all grew anxious as the last days approached. In the end, we provided a pop-up TLI session with for the first time, and a Full Family virtual TLI with all 6 divisions helping cover the General Session. Thank you again to all the wonderful people who made this term a success, and congratulations to the over 80 clubs who met the 4-club officer training requirement and earned your ½ DCP point. You all made this term special, and no doubt helped us all continue to raise the bar. Oh, and I almost forgot…Yes, yes, we did break the Emily record. Woohooo! More sunshine for all!
