You likely have heard or seen August’s Outstanding Member of the Month recently – perhaps at an Area or Division contest? Or the District contest at the conference in May? Or maybe even live at the World Championship of Public Speaking semi-finals in the Bahamas?
Aundrea Payne represented her club Strategic Communicators, her area, division, and our district in superb fashion, with much flair and professionalism. While working her way to the semi-finals, she made many friends and connections visiting clubs all over the district to practice and gather feedback. Perhaps you were lucky enough to have her visit your club while she was practicing for the big stage!
That seems already exhausting to me but that’s not all!
Aundrea is not only a now well-accomplished speaker but so much more! She is currently pursuing an MBA, working a full-time job, and has even stepped up to be an Area Director! Does this woman ever sleep?
Aundrea, one of this year’s Area Directors, brings passion and forward-thinking inspiration to her role as the Area 43 Area Director within Division D. She dedicates herself to nurturing her four clubs, continuously looking to provide support and foster their growth, while encouraging creative challenges. For instance, she is coordinating special area networking events to encourage area officers to engage in more district opportunities and events, to achieve greater personal growth.
When I think of people in the district who are going out and ‘Sharing their Sunshine’ Aundrea immediately comes to mind with her drive to not only grow herself, but to create growth environments and opportunities for others. Congratulations on being our August 2023 Outstanding member of the month Aundrea Payne!
