Change is in the air for District 25 as the 2025–2026 leadership team has officially been voted in. At the Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, May 15th, members cast their votes to shape the direction of the coming year. Just a few days later, the district welcomed its new leaders with a Sunday morning Leadership Transition Breakfast—a symbolic handoff to mark the road ahead.
The significance of the transition this year is clear. District 25 will expand from six to seven divisions. This change comes as part of the district’s acquisition of a portion of neighboring District 23. With growth comes opportunity — but also a new set of challenges.
One key shift will be geographical reach. Where District 25 leadership has traditionally operated within relatively close proximity, the coming year will require a broader view. Not everything will be “within arm’s reach” anymore, which will call for stronger coordination, planning, and a fresh mindset about connection and communication.
That mindset is reflected in the incoming team’s theme: “Becoming One.” It’s a message of unity that couldn’t be timelier. As new leaders step into their roles, they’ll be working not only to maintain District 25’s strong legacy but to integrate and uplift the new members joining from District 23.
