Three cheers to District 25 clubs and members! District 25 started the year with 29 awards and incentives that are celebrated at the end of the year – two more have been added. Some of these are for members, others for clubs.
Members, you are your club’s ray of sunshine – they cannot shine without you! There are incentives and awards just for you. Two are the Nemilita Networking Nine and 5×5 evaluation. These incentives are a fun way to improve your skills by taking agenda roles including evaluator while visiting other clubs. Since the deadline to submit your applications is June 30th, you have plenty of time to go visiting.
Clubs are having a great time with Sunshine to Sunshine, Open House, Golden Gavel, and many more incentives. The newest incentive is “Pick-a-Path” and yes, it is tied to your club’s Pathways enrollment. Clubs that have 100% of their members enrolled in Pathways by May 31st, will receive a ribbon for their banner.
Some completed club incentives and awards are: Renew 8, Surprise Incentive, Pick-a-Path, and Pacesetter. Renew 8, an incentive based on membership had 49 clubs that met the requirement. They had at least eight members join or renew by July 31, 2023. A surprise incentive, aptly named “Surprise Incentive,” is based on club communication via Toastmasters International find-a-club. Approximately 80% of clubs responded. Keep up the pace with the Pacesetter incentive. This is a six-part excellence award based on club DCP goals. The more a club exceeds its DCP goals, the more Pacesetter awards it wins. Pacesetter part 5 deadline was January 31st with 24 clubs completing five or more DCP goals!
