If you took sunshine and made it into something solid, it would probably be gold. Our March 2024 Outstanding Member of the Month is solid gold sunshine – so much so her name is even gold. Jenall Gold. Having joined Toastmaster in April 2023, it’s even more special that her Outstanding Member of the Month recognition is announced for her 1st anniversary.
Just three months after joining Weatherford Toastmasters last spring, Jenall became the club Vice President Membership and is working to help the club grow through innovative, creative outreach, and creating opportunities for conversations with folks who are not yet Toastmasters. Her hard work got her noticed by this year’s conference team, and she was asked to take on the essential role of Conference PR chair. If you’re on the D25 Facebook Bulletin Board, you’ve probably already seen her fun Facebook posts about the upcoming conference.
Jenall was also one of the panelists at our most recent Club Success Workshop in March. The topic was ‘Bridging the Gap’ between generations (recording here if you missed it) to share ideas and information encouraging younger adults to join Toastmasters. Kudos to Jenall for getting in and giving back!
Jenall has only been part of our district family for one year and is already doing amazing things. I can’t wait to see how she grows over the next few years. There was a lot of excitement when her name was proposed this month. Here is what a couple of D25 leaders have had to say about her, “Jenall has a crazy amount of creative initiative and the energy to follow her ideas through to success, which means you can depend on her to get a project done”, and “While she’s a real go-getter, she’s super humble and is looking to help wherever she can just for the opportunity to help others and grow herself. She’s not looking for accolades for helping; she’s vivacious, but humble at the same time.”
Just like Jenall’s non-Toastmasters family, her husband, and two dogs, we are all excited about the awesome ways this Toastmaster will share her sunshine both in and out of the district. Good luck Jenall in all your endeavors. Go Jenall go!
