June’s outstanding member of the month had a big month. Not only was finishing off the year as Division Director strong and supporting his clubs and Area Directors to the very last day, he also started events and responsibilities of next year’s role as Logistics Manager – one of the few roles that actually starts early before July 1. He ALSO covered for me when I was unexpectedly sick during Leadership Advance Camp, and he stepped up to lead successful, fun training sessions with almost no notice. He did all this while also meeting national and international work travel demands and caring for his wife while she recovered from surgery.
John Aparicio has some serious dedication. If he says he will, he will. You just gotta get out of the way! He always has a friendly smile, a big laugh, and a helping hand. He’s eager to learn more, do more, and know more. He wants to know all the ways in which he can support others and help them grow. John thrives when he’s been asked to jump in the deep end as his never-failing “can do” attitude means he comes out the other side better than ever.
He has taken on board the belief that D25 is a family. He works hard to share his passion and joy with others. John has helped grow not only his ADs but anyone else he came across that he could help. This fundamental belief that we are all better together is wonderful to see.
For these reasons and more – John Aparicio is our June 2024 Toastmaster of the Month. Congratulations John!
