Typically, when talking about event planning people, will tell you that a project manager is responsible for, you guessed it…planning, executing, and overseeing. This can include managing teams, budgets, and deadlines. Sounds like a lot of work, right? Let’s combine that with being a Toastmaster volunteer leader, and our dedication to servant leadership, and you have the November Outstanding Leader. This leader led countless calls, helped to secure the venue, oversaw the marketing, had a budget to plan and oversee, and so much more. In addition, this leader, on the day of the event, never stopped working from 6:00 am all the way to way after the event ended, and the whole time he did it with a smile.
Congratulations to Jai Erwin, this year’s Summit Manager and the November Outstanding Leader.
Jai, the District is eternally grateful for all your hard work, the countless hours you spent on calls, and for the amazing job you did getting us all to Level Up. The 2024 Summit took us to a non-hotel-based venue, taught us the concept of gamification, and gave everyone the opportunity to embrace new ways to grow…But that’s just the start. Thank you again for being an amazing leader modeling all the best things that Toastmasters stand for.
Now let’s all give another big, or let’s say huge, no even better LEVELED UP Thank You! Jai Erwi, way to GROW, and thank you again for all you did. This event was a huge success and congratulations on being the D25 Outstanding Leader of the Month.
