Are you looking to transform your speaking skills and expand your impact as a leader? Join us on Saturday, December 7th, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for District 25’s Speaker to Trainer event! Whether you’re aiming to conduct engaging virtual sessions at the upcoming Winter Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) or seeking to sharpen your skills for other training opportunities, this workshop is a must-attend.
As Toastmasters, many of us are skilled speakers, accustomed to presenting with clarity and confidence. But training involves more than delivering a message—it’s about creating an environment that encourages interaction, builds knowledge, and engages participants actively. This event is tailored to help you make that leap, shifting from speaker to trainer with tools and techniques that promote dynamic learning.
This interactive, two-hour session goes beyond traditional presentations. Expect a hands-on experience where your participation will make all the difference! Together, we’ll explore training fundamentals, engage in discussions on best practices, and discover ways to inspire and involve learners. You’ll leave not only with fresh insights but also with practical strategies that you can apply in virtual or in-person training sessions alike.
The Speaker to Trainer event will be hosted via Zoom, with a link available on the D25 website’s upcoming events calendar. We encourage you to arrive ready to engage and contribute, as well as to network with fellow Toastmasters committed to their development as trainers.
So, mark your calendar for December 7th and join us as we step up, learn together, and prepare to make a greater impact. We look forward to seeing you there—come ready to connect, participate, and transform your approach to training!
