Have you ever considered a monumental task and thought ‘I can’t do this?’ You look at it from every angle to assess the challenge and then plot a strategy for how you will get it done. Then you do something miraculous. You take the first step! You recognize that small actions make incremental progress towards achieving the desired outcome.
It happens whether you’re knitting a blanket, building a table, or planning a movie binge session. You’ve got to break down before you can build. Have you ever wondered what it’s like when you’re already at the end? You’ve finished and are now on the crest of completion, contemplating the results.
The D25 Summit offers you just such a vantage point. With the best and the brightest that this District can offer, you’ll have the chance to benefit from the calculation, collaboration, and creation of Toastmasters, in many different ways, through the programs planned and educational session offered. We have assembled those that have done the breaking down and are now ready to offer you visibility on the buildup. You need not look up at that high point and wonder ‘how will I get there?’ You can stand at the top and see the whole journey, with all the lessons included.
This is your annual opportunity to cut out the tactics and feast on the results. Will you Summit with us? Registration will open in September, but you don’t have to wait until then to get involved.
The Summit planning committee is taking volunteers for the planning and also for the day of the event. Please contact Kelsey Dean or Joyce Trimble to get involved. kdean1610@aol.com and jgvt1444@gmail.com.
