‘Twas the night before Christmas, all through D25 land,
Toastmasters paused meetings, agendas unplanned.
The gavel was resting, the lectern stood still,
As members dreamed sweetly of growth, goals, and skills.
But I, Santa Chuck, by the glow of my screen,
Now writing this letter with cheer in between.
Not a checklist or report, not business or such,
Just a holiday note from good old Santa Chuck.
I thought first of Denise, our Director so bright,
Guiding the District with purpose, with insight.
Through challenges faced and successes well-earned,
She leads with a vision from which we’ve all learned.
Her steadiness, her heart, her commitment so true
Are gifts that inspire all we say, all we do.
Then Najaf came to mind, our PQD, with care,
Developing leaders with wisdom to spare.
He plants seeds of excellence, helps pathways appear,
So strong leaders rise up year after year.
His legacy grows in each club that succeeds,
A gift felt in actions, not titles or deeds.
I remembered Michelle, our CGD so kind,
With clubs on her heart and solutions in mind.
From questions to coaching, from struggles to wins,
She helps clubs believe in the growth that begins.
Her service reminds us what teamwork can be:
Supporting each other. Building community.
And Jesse, our IPDD, whose guidance still stands,
With experience steady and a helping hand.
His leadership echoes in lessons passed on,
A foundation reminding us how far we’ve gone.
His counsel and care helped our District take flight,
A lasting gift carried well beyond the spotlight.
So as holidays come with reflection and cheer,
Remember the reason we all gather here:
To grow, to encourage, to lead, and to learn,
To help every voice find the chance it’s earned.
May your days be warm, may your season be bright,
May your goals feel achievable, your future in sight.
From Santa Chuck’s desk, with gratitude so true,
Merry Christmas to all, and a confident New Year to you!
