Purpose: To support a club that has low membership. To provide the “member power” to facilitate a strong and lively meeting. Increase membership numbers in the club being supported.
Results Wanted: Motivate current club members to be enthusiastic and involved. Consistent strong meetings so guests will view club as healthy and one they want to join.
Who makes up a Helping Hands team? Four members that belong to another Toastmasters club at the onset of the support program. If the club being supported has club coaches assigned to them, the coaches may be support team members. All members must agree to attend 4 consecutive club meetings.
Who can be part of a Helping Hands team? Any member who is identified by a District, Division, Area or Club official as being a member who will promote the Toastmasters Program in a positive way. Team members must agree to attend 4 consecutive club meetings.
Any Helping Hands team must be approved by the District 25 Club Growth Director & Club Retention Chair before they can visit in an official capacity.

Reasons for a struggling club to want to be supported by a Helping Hands Team: Larger meeting attendance to provide a more dynamic meeting Fresh ideas about ways to attract new members Fresh voices to give Evaluations, Table Topics, General Evaluations, etc. Promote achievement of Club DCP goals and member retention Enhance member experience Make new friends
