by Tracy Speyer DTM District Chief Judge
Contest season is right around the corner, and District 25 is gearing up for an exciting lineup of speeches, inspiration, and community spirit. To make these contests successful, we rely on the dedication and enthusiasm of our members—and this year, we’re inviting YOU to be part of the experience.
Every contest requires a strong team of volunteers to keep things running smoothly. We’re looking for ballot counters, timers, and Sergeants at Arms who are ready to support contestants and help create a professional, welcoming environment. Whether you’ve served before or you’re brand new to contests, there’s a role that fits your comfort level and schedule.
And even if you’re not volunteering in an official capacity, your presence still matters. Spectators play a huge part in creating the energy that encourages contestants to bring their very best. A supportive audience can transform a contest from a routine event into a memorable celebration of growth and courage.
If you’re ready to get involved, the full contest schedule is available at D25Toastmasters.org. You can also reach out to your Area Director or Contest Chair for details on how to sign up and where your help is needed most.
Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to give back, meet new people, and strengthen the Toastmasters experience for everyone. Join us in making this contest season the best one yet. Your time, your voice, and your support truly make a difference.
Let’s show our contestants that District 25 stands behind them—loud, proud, and ready to cheer them on.
