Embrace the Opportunities for Success
by Les Condit DTM Division C Director
District 25 Toastmasters,
Welcome to an exhilarating new Toastmasters year! We are bursting with excitement as we embark on this journey together, ready to achieve new heights of personal and professional growth. This year is brimming with opportunities for each of us to develop our communication and leadership skills in ways we never imagined.
The beauty of Toastmasters lies in its supportive environment, where every member is both a student and a mentor. This year let’s seize the chance to step out of our comfort zones and embrace new challenges. These are my challenges for you:
- Every member set a personal goal to get at least 1 educational award this Toastmasters year by June 30, 2026. VPEs, I challenge you to support this and help every member accomplish this.
- Every club, create a club success plan to be “Distinguished” and turn it in to Club Central by September 30. Then execute that plan. I challenge every Club officer to help drive their club to be distinguished. (Several clubs just missed this by not reaching membership qualifiers in 2025. Start the membership drive today.)
If you have any questions about what this takes, email your questions to your Area and Division Directors. You can find their emails on the D25 website under the leadership tab at the top of the webpage.
Other leadership opportunities abound in District 25! Serving as a club coach or a club mentor not only enriches your experience but also helps you develop essential skills such as teamwork, time management, and strategic planning while helping other clubs to thrive. These roles are the perfect platform to inspire and guide fellow members while bolstering your own leadership journey.
Let’s make this year unforgettable. Engage fully, support one another, and celebrate every milestone. Together, we will create an atmosphere of encouragement and camaraderie that propels each of us to success.
Remember the challenge: Every member earns an education award and every club is “Distinguished.”
Have a fun and have a great Toastmasters year reaching your goals.
