There is an old saying that “A Toastmaster wears many hats” and boy this time of year that is the truth. It all started in December when we held our first Winter TLI session. Winter TLI is all about the D25 leadership soup and the ingredients it takes to make it the best. Spoiler alert…D25 has the best ingredients so our soup is always award-winning. Don’t believe me yet? Don’t worry, there are still three more Division-sponsored events where you can find out all about this soup and more. You might even win one of the very special D25 soup spoons. Division F TLI on Friday 2/16 5pm – Training Date Passed
Division C TLI on Sunday 2/18 1pm- Training Date Passed
Division B TLI on Friday 2/23 5pm- Training Date Passed
Up next, we have an Area contest that started Area 64 in Division F on Sat 2/3. We now have had our first few completed, but don’t worry you haven’t missed all the fun yet…there are still plenty more. If you are interested in becoming a Judge, please contact District Chief Judge Jason Jett. If judging is not your game, maybe you can serve in other ways. I know plenty of Area Directors would love your support. Check out the CONTEST SCHEDULE if you are interested, or if you want to just come watch. We welcome everyone because, after all the contests are FREE and ONLINE…easy date nights for everyone.
Now what am I missing? Oh yes…The Annual Conference. Coming up Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 11th the District invites you to come out and be part of “Our Next Great Adventure.” Krystal Besaw and her conference team are gathering up all the best speakers and presentations from the community and we can’t wait to share with you. More information will be coming soon so look for registration to go live in March. Check back on the D25 website for more details coming soon. *Spoiler Alert* We are going to have a very special guest in attendance. Our Region 3 International Director Violetta Rios, DTM will be joining us and giving a keynote and a very special one-time-only education session.
