Area 61 Director Tuc Goodwin is pleased to report that the NST Toastmasters Fall ‘23 Open House, which was held on December 31, was very well attended.
There were more than 40 people present, 15 of which were guests including District Director, Emily Murray. There were two speakers and two evaluators. Three participants, including DD Emily Murray, spoke during the Table Topics session.
There was active involvement of some of the participants from the Youth Leadership Program. In Tuc’s capacity as Area 61 Director, he made a pitch to the attendees not to forget to attend TLI Training. He was also very impressed to see that there were three or four new applications collected before the meeting was adjourned.
This meeting was a high-energy and very positive meeting. Congratulations NST Toastmasters for ending the 2023 calendar year exemplifying the importance of conducting a well-attended, well-organized Open House. Keep the momentum going and thank you for your example.
