Calling all club officers current or future! Toastmasters Leadership Institute training sessions are now open and active for the winter. They started January 6th and run through February 19.
Everyone is always welcome to attend these sessions which are free. We are 100% virtual this winter so attend as many as you are interested in! Our general session theme is “You are the Team” and will show how to be an effective team leader through personal growth. Immediately following the general session will be officer-specific sessions. Both are required if you are training for club credit for either the Super 7, Stupendous 7, or your club training DCP point. Supplemental sessions are only required if you would like to use that training to count towards a 2nd (or 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc.) officer role you hold in. Supplemental sessions are also open to anyone interested in the topics offered.

With 13 TLI dates, and no less than 34 supplemental sessions, there really is something for everyone. Maybe you want to become more proficient with Base Camp. Learn to maximize the impact and effect of an open house. Learn to work with an accountability partner and build an accountability structure for success. Maybe you like being judge-y; get trained as a contest judge, jump in, and judge away at our contest season that starts in February. Ooh…Speechcraft and Youth Leadership are exceptional programs and elements that also count towards achieving DTM status. We have experienced leaders giving workshops that have been successful with those programs.
There are so many useful, engaging opportunities for personal growth or upskilling; it’s hard to find a reason to not come to at least one! WE look forward to seeing you at one soon!
