Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening fellow Toastmasters. I am expanding my term with the Club Growth team as the Extension Chair for the second year in a row. But it is not all about me.
We are looking to expand upon the success we had last year in adding new clubs and helping them grow for 2023-/2023 and beyond. Here’s where YOU come in.
- YOU can help with demo meetings.
- YOU engage in giving a speech that counts toward any of your paths.
- YOU encourage newcomers by taking on a role just as you do in your regular club meetings. This gives them an idea of what to expect. These “Toastmasters Light” meetings usually take about 45 minutes, but they are also recruiting opportunities, so we ask you to be there for about an hour and a half to engage and encourage the prospective club and members.
- YOU become a part of history as we continue to expound upon helping others grow their confidence in being or becoming better communicators and leaders.
I am looking for at least twenty interested individuals to join so that we can be as efficient as possible in covering areas across the metroplex and outlying areas of District 25. There is a need for both in-person and hybrid volunteers.
The time is NOW as we already have requests from contacts eager to get started.
