At the end of January, District 25 welcomed Toastmasters International’s 2nd Vice President, Matt Kinsey, for an incredible three-day visit. Matt was such an inspiration to our District leaders, teams, and members, and provided invaluable support to help us grow District 25.
We planned several events for his visit, much of it captured on D25 FB, including lunch and dinner with leadership teams, a club visit with Southlake Club, a Town Hall, a Corporate Award presentation to First Command, a Launch meeting for a prospective new club with the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, and a couple of informational meetings with prospective new clubs leads in person and by phone. The Town Hall with Matt was the highlight of the visit as he provided insight into Toastmasters for the entire District.
The visit was a great success and made a large impact on District 25. We learned so much from him and thoroughly enjoyed having him with us. We are grateful for Matt’s time spent and the support provided over the three days.
