On March 9, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth, received the Corporate Recognition Award from Toastmasters International. The award was presented by Region 3 Advisor Lark Doley to Joe LaMarca, Vice President, Communications at Lockheed Martin.
The oldest active Toastmasters club at Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth site, Quicksilver Express, was chartered in 1981. At present, three additional clubs are operating: Fighter Enterprise, LM AeroSpeakers, and Project Managers and Systems Engineers. There are more than 75 members in these clubs.
When receiving the award, LaMarca said he appreciated the great work that Toastmasters members are doing and was grateful that he was part of the recognition that was earned by the Toastmasters members at Lockheed Martin.
